Dometic 320 RV Toilet Review

Using the restroom in an RV does not need to be without the advantages and comfort available in a traditional bathroom. Thanks to the manufacturers of the Dometic 320 RV Toilet you can now have many of the same amenities of home.

The Dometic 320 RV Toilet features some of the most modern design aspects that can be found in a domestic toilet. Some of these features include a pressurized flushing system, hands-free flush, water-saving and much more. Dometic RV toilets provide RV owners with an easy way to upgrade their resources without having to invest in a major overhaul of their current system.

How The Dometic 320 RV Toilet Works

The Dometic 320 is a premium RV toilet, that features a gravity flush and is made of ceramic with an enameled wood seat. The toilet’s flushing systems offer a full 360 degrees of cleansing flush keeping the waste where it needs to be and making cleaning your toilet quick and easy. Near the base of the toilet, you will find a foot pedal that allows you to control the amount of water in the bowl or depress the pedal completely for a full flush.

Installation

The easy two-bolt installation makes replacing your existing RV toilet with the Dometic 320 simple. The toilet even includes a quick access water connection. In most cases, the toilet can be installed in 30 minutes or less and requires very little skill. Before installation, make sure that the water supply is disconnected.

Begin by removing your current toilet. Remove and clean the gasket area, making sure to have a clean smooth surface for the new gasket to adhere correctly. Align the new gasket (included with your Dometic 320) and secure the water access line. Hand tighten the water access line, making sure not to overtighten or cross-thread the connector.

Line up the bolts and slide the new toilet into place. Hand tighten the nuts securely and test the toilets balance and level. There should be no movement in the toilet.

Once you are sure that the toilet is secure, you may reconnect your water supply and test the toilet fill and flush. You should also test that the sprayer is in proper working order as well. Please note, that unless you have a very strong pressurized water system, the hand sprayer will only offer a pressurized spray while depressing the foot pedal.

The most common issue is a misalignment of the gasket or one that shifts during installation, taken caution during installation and carefully following all included instructions will help to reduce this possibility. In some cases, the gasket may come already attached to the toilet, make sure that the gasket is properly aligned even if it already in place.
